A 43-year-old muslim Imam at Educational Legacy College’s Mosque in Ibadan, Oyo State, Isiaka Salimonu has been arrested for raping a 15-year-old girl, simply identified as Yetunde.   Naijaloaded gathered that the Imam, whose daughter and Yetunde are classmates, had been wooing the innocent girl for the past 10 months without success. Imam Isiaka, who has been detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Ibadan, was said to have promised to give Yetunde a special oil for prayers to improve her academic performance.   It was when she went to the Mosque to collect the said 'special oil' from him that he pounced on the victim and raped her. According to our source and Twitter Tweets, Davido was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts by one Nosa, a fast rising music producer cum manager. The show ended and according to the source, Davido who was said to be drunk to stupor insisted on leaving in a friend’s car instead of going in the one the ones that brought him, and other top artistes and crew from the hotel. He insisted though and Nosa being his host had to drive behind them, bubble later burst when the car conveying Davido was stopped by some military men for the routine check especially at that time of the night. Bloodbath in Anambra, 7 killed as police, robbers clash Photo:  Sun News Publishing By:  EMMANUEL UZOR, Onitsha Date:  Sat, 06/23/2012 - 21:51 Seven persons were feared dead when policemen and dare-devil armed robbers engaged each other in fierce gun duel at Okija, Ihiala Council Area of Anambra State. It was gathered that the armed robbers, who were dressed in army uniform, suffered the highest casualty when they tried to double-cross a police van on patrol.  A police source, who pleaded anonymity, told Sunday Sun that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Special Task Force on Heinous Crimes, Zone C were on routine security patrol along Okija- Onitsha-Owerri Expressway when the armed robbers attacked them.
